The challenge
Valimail had genuine product depth in DMARC, BIMI and email authentication. Yet when buyers used AI assistants to research the best platforms, compare vendors or understand implementation, that expertise did not reliably translate into recommendations.
Competitors with weaker category credentials were often named first. Valuable technical documentation existed, but it was not always framed around the questions buyers and journalists were asking. The wider evidence layer also needed strengthening so that Valimail's own claims were consistently supported by credible third-party sources.
The strategy
PromptRadar approached the brief as an authority problem, not simply a content problem.
We mapped the issues with the greatest relevance to security leaders, IT teams and technology journalists, including DMARC enforcement, BIMI adoption, email authentication and deliverability. This created a common agenda for media relations, expert commentary and AI visibility work.
The program included:
- 1.AI-first media relations. Technical expertise was turned into timely, accessible commentary and story angles for cybersecurity, enterprise technology and SaaS audiences.
- 2.Authority placements. Relevant third-party coverage and inclusion opportunities were pursued to create independent corroboration around Valimail's expertise and category position.
- 3.Answer-first technical content. High-value glossary, comparison and implementation content was organized so buyers could get a direct answer and AI systems could identify the relevant evidence.
- 4.Prompt intelligence. More than 300,000 prompts covering DMARC, BIMI, authentication, deliverability and vendor comparisons were mapped and tracked across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
The result
Valimail moved from being inconsistently surfaced to becoming a top-three cited vendor across high-intent DMARC and email-authentication prompts. Its AI mention share increased by 412%, with 200 priority prompts improving across the four platforms monitored.
The result was more than higher visibility. Valimail's market position became more coherent across the places buyers form an opinion: editorial coverage, specialist sources, its own educational content and AI-generated answers.
Why it worked
Cybersecurity buyers do not make decisions from a single claim. They look for technical clarity, independent validation and consistency across sources. By coordinating media authority with answer-ready expertise, the campaign gave both people and machines a stronger body of evidence on which to base a recommendation.
