The challenge
LLM Listed was building in a category that was moving faster than its language. Buyers understood that ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity were changing how people researched companies, but few understood the commercial consequences or what to do next.
That created a communications problem. LLM Listed needed to explain a new discipline without sounding speculative, overly technical or interchangeable with an SEO agency. It also needed credible evidence behind its point of view. Simply claiming that AI visibility mattered would not be enough. The company had to become a source that journalists, buyers and AI systems could trust.
The strategy
PromptRadar built the story around a simple tension: businesses can rank well in search and still be absent, misunderstood or misrepresented when a buyer asks AI who to trust.
We developed an evidence-led PR platform around that idea. Instead of relying on commentary alone, LLM Listed created proprietary datasets, repeatable testing methods and original reports that made emerging changes in buyer behavior tangible.
The program brought together four elements:
- 1.Category positioning. We established a consistent explanation of Answer Engine Optimization, the problem it solves and the outcomes it should be measured against.
- 2.Original research. LLM Listed analyzed 250 companies across 20 industries to examine how accurately major AI platforms understood and recommended real businesses.
- 3.Expert commentary and media relations. Complex changes in AI discovery were translated into clear, timely viewpoints for business, technology, legal and marketing audiences. This helped secure coverage in USA Today, the American Bar Journal and more than 45 media placements to date.
- 4.Machine-readable authority. Research pages, service content and company information were structured around clear claims, supporting evidence and consistent entity signals, making the material easier for AI systems to interpret and cite.
The result
LLM Listed developed from a new market entrant into a recognized specialist with a body of evidence behind its proposition. Its platform now tracks more than 300,000 buyer prompts and has scanned more than 1,500 brands across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
The media program has secured more than 45 placements to date, including features in USA Today and the American Bar Journal. These placements have taken LLM Listed's expertise beyond its owned channels, putting its research and point of view in front of mainstream business, legal and technology audiences while creating the independent references AI systems use to understand authority.
Most importantly, the company has something stronger than a generic AI story. It owns a defensible point of view supported by proprietary data, live client outcomes and original research. That gives journalists a reason to reference the business, gives buyers a reason to trust it and gives AI systems clearer evidence of what the company does and why it matters.
Why it worked
The campaign did not treat PR and AI visibility as separate channels. The same evidence that makes a story valuable to a journalist also helps machines understand authority: original data, independent corroboration, consistent facts and clearly attributed expertise.
