Original research & data

Create the evidence your market cannot ignore.

PromptRadar turns proprietary insight, market data and carefully designed research into authoritative stories journalists want to cover and AI systems can cite.

The proposition

Opinions compete. Original evidence leads.

Most companies publish commentary on conversations somebody else started. Original research gives your brand the chance to start one.

A strong data campaign can generate headlines, strengthen a category position, open doors with journalists and create a reference point that remains useful for months or years. It also gives search and AI systems a primary source to retrieve when people ask about your market.

We develop research with the story built in - not data for data's sake and not a survey assembled after the headline has already been chosen.

Why most branded research disappears

A percentage is not automatically a story.

Many surveys begin with a desired headline and work backwards. The result may support a campaign claim, but it rarely teaches a journalist or buyer anything they did not already suspect.

We start with a genuine information gap. What does the market repeatedly debate without evidence? Which buyer behavior is changing? What does the company know because of its position that others cannot easily observe? The strongest research gives the audience a new fact, a useful benchmark or a better way to interpret the category.

From question to campaign

01

Research strategy

We define the audience, editorial opportunity and authority objective before deciding whether the answer requires a survey, platform-data analysis, expert panel or mixed method.

02

Methodology and fieldwork

We work with the client and appropriate research partners to create a defensible sample, transparent methodology and questions that produce meaningful distinctions rather than superficial agreement.

03

Editorial analysis

The biggest number is not always the strongest story. We examine demographic differences, contradictions, changes over time and connections to live market events. Findings are stress-tested before they become claims.

04

Narrative and assets

We create the campaign narrative, report copy, media materials, executive commentary and the visual evidence required to make the findings accessible.

05

Launch and extension

Priority journalists may receive advance briefings or exclusives. After launch, the findings can support bylines, conference submissions, sales materials, executive content and further sector-specific stories.

Our campaign system

01

Find the unanswered question

We analyze media coverage, buyer prompts, competitor narratives and gaps in existing research.

02

Design for credibility

We define the sample, methodology, questions and limitations before collection begins.

03

Our strategists interrogate the findings to identify what is genuinely new, surprising or consequential.

04

Build the campaign

We produce the report, narrative, media materials, visual assets and executive commentary required for launch.

05

Take it to market

We pitch relevant journalists, brief priority contacts and extend the research through executive and owned channels.

06

Make it compound

The findings become future commentary, presentations, sales evidence, search assets and citable sources across AI discovery.

Why PromptRadar

We design research for authority, not content volume.

Our intelligence layer shows us which questions are recurring, which claims lack evidence and which sources currently define the category. That helps us create research with a clear role in the market - and a better reason to be referenced.

Questions

Do we need proprietary product data?

No. Product data can be powerful, but independent surveys, expert panels and public-data analysis can also produce authoritative campaigns. The method should fit the question.

How large should a survey sample be?

It depends on the population, markets and comparisons the campaign needs to support. We determine the sample with the research partner rather than treating one headline number as universally sufficient.

Can one study generate more than one story?

Usually. A well-designed study contains a flagship narrative plus secondary angles for vertical, regional and executive audiences. We plan those possibilities before fieldwork so the research can compound without being stretched beyond the evidence.

Will AI systems cite the research?

No agency can guarantee citation. Clear methodology, original evidence, accessible publishing and credible media coverage increase the usefulness and retrievability of the work. We measure whether the report and its coverage begin appearing in relevant answer environments.

Journalists are writing it. Buyers are sharing it. AI is repeating it. Let's make sure your company helps define it.
